Better-burger brand partners with Paulus Bulum for Augsburg location
Wayback Burgers opened its first location in Augsburg, Germany with franchise partner Paulus Bulum. The new Augsburg restaurant adds to international locations in Brunei, Sudan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Pakistan; Manitoba, Canada, Ireland, and the Netherlands.
The better-burger brand plans additional stores in Germany.
Bulum has past experience in the restaurant industry, and spends leisure time with his wife and three children. The 40-year Augsburg resident decided on Wayback after careful consideration and research.
“After visiting the Breda location (in the Netherlands), I decided to take the next steps toward starting my own Wayback Burgers franchise,” said Bulum. “I am excited to be apart of this growing brand and looking forward to opening the first location in Germany.”
Fast-casual Wayback Burger has grown to 166 locations globally with the help of its international expansion.
Added Patrick Conlin, Wayback Burgers president, “He (Bulum) is excited to embark on this journey and we believe he will be a great fit for our brand. The entire Wayback Burgers team has continued to go above and beyond for our franchisees and guests, despite the challenges we’ve all faced in 2020, and we look forward to doing the same for Paulus.”
