April 22 marks day of free sandwiches to restaurant employees
Smashburger added a new limited-time Scorchin’ Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich to its menu. The sandwich starts with Nashville hot crispy chicken, spicy red pepper mayo, and pickles, and is then served on a classic toasted bun. To promote the new menu item, Smashburger will offer a BOGO (buy one, get one) offer April 20, 2021.
Plus, on April 22, from 2 p.m to 5 p.m., the fast-casual chain will offer a free Scorchin’ Hot Crispy Sandwich to restaurant employees sporting their fast-casual or fast-food uniform.
Carl Bachmann, president of Smashburger, commented, “Smashburger has always been a culinary food-focused brand, so we continue to take an aggressive approach into menu innovation offering our guests new high caliber products with unique flavor and taste profiles. We’re hoping this sandwich will offer guests the spicy kick that they crave.”
DoorDash, Postmates, Uber Eats, and GrubHub will fulfill delivery orders. For pickup, delivery and in-store dining, customers can order from Smashburger’s website and its app.
For the free restaurant employee offer, customers must be wearing their uniform, announced the Denver-based chain.
Smashburger will offer the Scorchin’ Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich until June 15, 2021.
