Alpharetta City Center opening continues to grow chain in Metro-Atlanta, nationwide
The fast-casual Curry Up Now chain opened a new location in Alpharetta, Georgia, continuing its expansion in the Metro-Atlanta area—its third opening in the market. In a partnership with franchisee Hemant Suri, the Indian concept has expanded quickly.
The Curry Up Now Alpharetta restaurant location follows openings in Madison Yards at Reynoldstown and North Decatur Square.
“We are thrilled to serve our flavorful and playful takes on Indian street food to such a vibrant community while continuing to grow the Curry Up Now brand nationwide,” said Akash Kapoor, Curry Up Now founder and chief troublemaker.
Curry Up Now Georgia expansion
Suri, who is already searching for a fourth location, was able to implement a low-cost restaurant conversion With a change of color scheme, décor and the addition of new equipment, project costs were surprisingly lower than anticipated and helped expedite the opening.
He added, “We are proud to have successfully opened our third Curry Up Now in about 18 months and are already looking for the fourth location. We feel the greater Atlanta market has the potential to accommodate even more, our goal is to open 10 locations.”
Burritos, Bowls, Tacos and Naughty Naan pepper the menu, together with Indian street food snacks and traditional dishes like Thali Platters, Kathi Rolls and Family Style Entrees. The menu accommodates vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and Halal diets, addressing diverse dietary preferences.
Nationwide penetration
The 14 stores across the United States and the 50 restaurants in development signal the popularity of quick, fresh, Indian street food.
Curry Up Now tallies three food trucks, 14 brick-and-mortar restaurants, and the launch of a craft cocktail bar concept, known as Mortar & Pestle, located within Curry Up Now restaurants.
The Alpharetta Curry Up Now restaurant’s operating hours are 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. with dine-in, takeout and catering available. Customers who sign up for the chain’s rewards program can receive $5 off their first order, exclusive offers and free menu items.
The Indian fast-casual venture has partnered with Alexandria, Va.-based Fransmart, a franchising development firm, to grow unit count across the United States.
