MOD Pizza introduced a new salad menu that features Greek, Italian Chop, Garden, and Caesar varieties. New salad dressings for the pairing come in the form of Greek Herb, Zesty Roma and Sherry Dijon, made with simple ingredients and vinegars imported from Italy. MOD’s Caesar dressing, which is a customer favorite, will remain on the menu.
The new Greek, Italian Chop, Garden, and Caesar salads can be customized with an unlimited number of toppings for one price in the same manner as MOD’s pizzas.

The Greek Salad features crisp romaine, tossed with new Greek Herb & Tahini vinaigrette and topped with creamy feta cheese, fresh red onion, sliced black olives, sweet & zesty peppers, diced tomato, cucumber, and tender chickpeas. The Italian Chop Salad starts with fresh arugula and crisp romaine that are then tossed with new Zesty Roma Dressing and topped with creamy mozzarella, grated parmesan, sliced Salami, red onion, sliced black olives, diced green bell pepper, and chickpeas.
The Garden Salad offers a simple take on the classic: tender mixed greens and crisp romaine, tossed with new Sherry Dijon vinaigrette topped with diced tomato and cucumber. The Caesar Salad features crisp romaine, tossed with MOD’s classic Caesar dressing, topped with grated parmesan, shredded asiago cheese, diced tomato, and finished with crunchy croutons.

‘Golden Fork’ promotion
Originally released in late April, the new offerings were well-received during a pilot beforehand. The salads and dressings were rolled out to all 490 MOD Pizza locations. As a way to celebrate National Salad Month, the Seattle-based pizza chain also launched a “Golden Fork’ promotion.
In a giveaway through May 7, 2021, MOD Pizza will give customers who order through the app or online the chance to be one of 100 winners of a free salad. The resulting winners will be entered in a drawing for a chance to claim a “Golden Fork”—free salad each week for a year.
“When we tested the salads in several of our key markets last year, the response from our customers was overwhelming, with 9 out of 10 saying they would likely re-order one of our new salads, said Mark Shambura, chief marketing officer for MOD. “We’re excited to share our new offerings with existing customers, while also appealing to new customers and helping to expand our digital business.”
