Mills spent 22 years at Richmond’s Altria Group
Performance Food Group named Claudia Mills vice president of Diversity and Inclusion. Mills, who comes from Altria Group, Inc., takes the post May 17, 2021. She has a record of results through transformation and has experience with promoting inclusion.
At Altria, Mills spent nearly 22 years rising through the ranks from field sales to corporation positions in training, communications, transformation, diversity and inclusion. Most recently, she held the post of director of Inclusion, Diversity and Equality.
Born in Mexico, Mills saw the value of employee resources groups (ERG), introducing them at Altria and forming the first Hispanic ERG. She became a citizen of the United States while in high school.

At Marymount California University in Palos Verdes, Mills received an Associate’s degree in business. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
