Fast-casual chain taps 25-year restaurant industry veteran for critical role
Qdoba Mexican Eats named Jim Sullivan chief development officer. In this new role, Sullivan will be charged with development activities, site selection, market planning, and successful negotiations for site acquisition, as he joins the executive leadership team.
Qdoba executives are banking on his 25 years of experience with top restaurant brands to help him boost growth at the fast-casual chain..
Most recently, Sullivan worked at CKE Restaurants, which is the parent company of Carl’s Jr., Hardee’s, Green Burrito and Red Burrito. In leadership roles there, he oversaw design, maintenance, real estate, market planning and other essential activities as chief development officer, and formerly as vice president of domestic development for real estate and construction.
Before CKE Restaurants, his career encompassed a variety of leadership positions, including chief development officer at Friendly’s Ice Cream and director of franchise sales, marketing and real estate at American Hospitality Concepts.
Sullivan has a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and earned a Mini M.B.A. from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
