Wendy’s tests Spicy Black Bean Burger in Columbus, Pittsburgh, Jacksonville

Three-city test adds plant-based burger to Made to Crave menu

Wendy’s added Spicy Black Bean Burger, a plant-based sandwich, to its Made to Crave lineup in select markets. Customers in Columbus, Pittsburgh and Jacksonville will be able to purchase the protein-packed sandwich starting June 28, 2021 as part of a three-city test.

The, restaurants finish off the sandwich with fresh tomatoes, onion slices and crisp romaine lettuce and place the ingredients between a toasted bun.
