Casual-dining chain continues to build off-premises business with smaller-foot-print locations
Two new P.F. Chang’s To Go locations, its small food-print restaurants, arrive in Irving, Texas and Orlando, Fla. this month. The casual-dining chain continues to grow its digital format concept as it plans for more than 50 units operating across the country by the end of 2022.
The new Las Colinas P.F. Chang’s To Go restaurant opened today in Irving, Texas, is open starting today. The Orlando location will celebrate a grand opening in July. It will be located in the Pixon apartment community, according to the Orlando Sentinel. The two units will operate Sunday to Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Five To Go units opened in New York City and three in Chicago, says the Pan-Asian style chain.
Additional compact-footprint restaurants are planned for high-density markets, allowing guests to try P.F. Chang’s food via online ordering for takeout, catering and delivery. P.F. Chang’s has targeted Colorado, Florida, Texas, New York, Louisiana, Nevada, and Arizona as states ripe for To Go development.
“Since launching P.F. Chang’s To Go last year, Asian continues to be a go-to take out cuisine and we have seen a tremendous response from our customers,” said Damola Adamolekun, P.F. Chang’s chief executive. “P.F. Chang’s To Go is not a replacement for our full-scale restaurants, but we know consumers across the country are seeking convenient dining options and our evolving business model accommodates this desire. Looking ahead, we are excited to help our customers across the country enjoy all of their favorites faster and easier than ever.”
