Anchor Bar expands with opening at Stadium Promenade Center, Orange, California
New location is conveniently-located near many popular attractions
Anchor Bar and Restaurant, serving up the Original Buffalo Chicken Wing, announced its arrival at the Stadium Promenade Center in Orange, Calif. The recently-opened location is owned and operated by local residents Mike and Dawn Looney. The Anchor Bar is located on the site of a former restaurant, The Pint House.
Founded in Buffalo, N.Y., the chain has been operating since 1964,, continuing its expansion plans.
The Anchor Bar’s surroundings in Orange should draw considerable traffic. The Honda Center, Disneyland and the Angel Stadium of Anaheim are all a short drive away.
“Being residents of the City of Orange for over thirty years, we are extremely excited to bring the Original Buffalo Chicken Wing to our community,” says owner Mike Looney. “When I decided to open a restaurant, I was looking for a wholesome franchise company. Being a part of the Anchor Bar team feels like being with family.”
The orange Anchor Bar serves up the concept’s classic fare, including the original signature wings and sauces, boneless wings, beef on weck, salads, pizza, burgers, and hot sandwiches.
The new location’s outdoor patio seating, sports bar and a family dining area add to its appeal. The restaurant currently offers takeout, delivery, and outdoor dining with social distancing seating, as part of state regulations.
The 14+-unit chain serves about 5M of its prized buffalo chicken wings annually.
