New nuggets will be reminiscent of popular Chicken Sandwich
Popeyes will introduce Popeyes Nuggets, with flavors and texture reminiscent of its popular Chicken Sandwich. The Miami-based quick-service chicken chain announced the in-store breaded and seasoned Nuggets will roll out in the states and Puerto Rico starting Jul 27, 2021 and also in Canada.
The new Popeyes Nuggets will benefit from a special flour and batter system to provide a crispy texture. These white meat chicken breast Nuggets can be paired with signature sauces, including Bayou Buffalo, BoldBQ, Blackened Ranch, Buttermilk Ranch, Wild Honey Mustard, and Sweet Heat.
Customers can purchase them at stores or on third-party delivery sites in sizes of 4 pieces to 36 pieces after the launch.
“We have invested the time to perfect a product that leverages our classic techniques and Louisiana flavors that will change how people think about and experience Chicken Nuggets. We think we did it again with Chicken Nuggets.” said Amy Alarcon, vice president of Culinary Innovation, Popeyes. “Now we can offer this famous recipe in pieces with the launch of Popeyes Nuggets.”
Popeyes operates and franchises 3,300 restaurants globally.
