New restaurant is first of several planned for Tennessee market
2nd Avenue and Commerce Street. The new restaurant concept from Guy Fieri, Emmy Award-winning television personality, chef and author, and restaurateur Robert Earl, is the first Chicken Guy! unit to debut, and will be followed by Chicken Guy! Gatlinburg, Tenn., opening this fall.
Fieri’s partnership with Face Hospitality first came in the form of Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen + Bar concept in Landing, Mo. and will also lead to the development of a Guy Fieri’s Downtown Flavortown in Pigeon Forge, Mo.
During construction, Chicken Guy! Nashville, located at 139 2nd Avenue North, was one of several buildings damaged in the Music City explosion on Christmas Day 2020. However, since then, the restaurant was “revitalized and revamped,” according to Face Hospitality.
“Nashville is one of the most exciting cities in America and I am stoked to bring Chicken Guy! to 2nd Avenue to add to the party,” said Fieri. “Music City knows great food and we’re proud to bring our 22 house made sauces, killer chicken and good times to the mix.”
The menu at Chicken Guy! offers guests a wide selection of American favorites, including all-natural chicken tenders, skewers, sandwiches and salads that come with a choice of 20+ varieties of house-made sauces. There’s a Bourbon Brown Sugar BBQ sandwich, which comes with pepper jack, bourbon brown sugar BBQ sauce, special sauce, slaw, pickles and BBQ kettle chips.
Chicken Guy! also serves up its Flavortown Shakes, including Triple Chocolate Mint, Apple Cinnamon Cereal, Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, and Oreo!
