Sarpino’s adds Beyond Chicken Tenders as plant-based menu option
New tenders add to growing list of vegan menu options
Sarpino’s Pizzeria added Beyond Chicken Tenders to the menu, expanding its selection of plant-based options. Beyond Chicken Tenders provide a nutritious alternative to animal proteins, said the Chicago-based pizza chain. In addition, they’re made with a blend of faba beans and peas, offering 14 grams of protein.
Flexitarians and vegans alike will be able to enjoy the new tenders at Sarpino’s locations for on-premises dining or to go.
Beyond Chicken Tenders add to Sarpino’s plant-forward menu items, including vegan calzones, pasta dishes and signature specialty pizzas. Compared to leading foodservice chicken tenders, the plant-based tenders have 40% less saturated fat.
