New stores to arrive in Indio and Colton, California and Fairbanks Alaska
Blaze Pizza will expand into Alaska with its first restaurant opening there in the city of Fairbanks and a deal to grow in Southern California with new openings in Indio and Colton. The multi-unit development agreements help the pizza chain further establish its presence in new markets.
In Alaska, Blaze has partnered with Greg and Catharine Persinger, two experienced franchise owners. The Persingers—a husband and wife team—already own successful Firehouse Subs and Cold Stone Creamery franchise locations under their belt. The agreement with the Persingers calls for four new restaurants in Alaska.
Aman and David Chandi, a brother-and-sister duo, will develop the Indo and Colton locations in California. They cut their teeth in franchise operations working for the family’s businesses. They have been operating Del Taco and Subway franchise units in California and will now utilize their expertise to make their Blaze Pizza stores successful.
Moreover, the new restaurants these franchise owners will operate will be located in shopping plazas owned by the Chandi Family.

In the recent past, Blaze Pizza Has been bolstering its development team. appointing Andrew Verhagen as franchise sales manager and John Grega as director of construction. They are well-versed in their fields and come from top restaurant brands, including Bojangles and Inspire Brands.
