Red Robin introduces limited-time Scorpion Gourmet Burger, Summer Heat Wave menu

Scorpion Wings, Pineapple Chile Margarita also headline LTOs

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews introduced a line of Summer Heat Wave menu items, including the Scorpion Gourmet Burger with bottomless fries. The limited-time offer (LTO) lineup also includes Scorpion Wings, Pineapple Chile Margarita, The Gold Fashioned, and Blue Bunny Super Fudge Brownie Load’d Bar.

The Scorpion Gourmet Burger features a fire-grilled beef burger, topped with Scorpion Pepper Sauce, Pepper Jack cheese, fried jalapeño coins, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, red onions. Restaurants top the sandwich with jalapeños roasted in Scorpion sauce and roasted garlic aioli and serve it on a sesame seed bun.

Red Robin’s Scorpion Wings include a choice of Bone-In or Boneless Wings, tossed in spicy Scorpion Pepper Sauce and drizzled with Whiskey River BBQ Sauce. The wings come on a bed of Yukon kettle chips

“We wanted to spice things up this summer with new limited-time menu features that we knew our guests could get excited about,” said Jonathan Muhtar, Red Robin EVP & chief concept officer. “The Scorpion Gourmet Burger is already proving to be a fan favorite. Red Robin invites anyone who can handle a little heat to try out all of our delicious new options while they are still available.”

The Pineapple Chile Margarita is another new Summer Heat Wave treat. The drink features Epsolòn Reposado tequila, chile poblano liqueur, pineapple juice and all-natural margarita mix, all served on the rocks. The cocktail is garnished with a fresh jalapeño slice and a lime wedge.

In addition, the Greenwich Village, Colo.-based casual-dining chain is also featuring The Gold Fashioned, with Jim Beam Bourbon, Grand Marnier, simple syrup and bitters, garnished with an orange wedge and cherry.

Also, the decadent Blue Bunny Super Fudge Brownie Load’d Bar arrives. It comes with chocolate frozen dairy dessert filled with chocolate fudge swirls and brownies. The dessert is then topped with fudge sauce dipped in milk chocolate coating and chocolate cookie crunch.
