US locations to serve Impossible starting August 11
The Habit Burger Grill rolled out the Original Impossible Burger and Impossible Bistro Burger to its menu at locations in the United States. The limited-time menu items will be available starting August 11, 2021.
The Irvine, Calif.-based Charburger chain prepares the Original Impossible Burger with caramelized onions, melted American cheese, atop fresh shredded lettuce and tomato on a toasted sesame bun. The Impossible Bistro Burger comes with caramelized onions and melted, aged white cheddar cheese atop fresh green leaf lettuce, a special house-made tangy secret sauce, lettuce and tomato, piled on a toasted, sweet brioche bun.
“We are thrilled to introduce plant-based Impossible Burgers to our guests, done The Habit way!” Iwona Alter, The Habit Burger Grill chief brand officer, said. “Our culinary team continues to focus on variety and our guests can choose between the premium Impossible Bistro Burger and the Original Impossible Burger, a spin on our classic Charburger.”
The Habit Burger Grill—a fast-casual subsidiary concept of Yum Brands—is known for its Charburger. Restaurants prepare the full-on ground beef patty chargrilled over an open flame for a distinctive smoky flavor
“As a strong brand with an enthusiastic fan base and great food, The Habit is a perfect fit for Impossible Burger,” said Dennis Woodside, Impossible Foods’ president. “We’re excited to help The Habit continue to grow by offering their meat-forward customer base a plant-based option that delivers on deliciousness and flavor.”
The burger chain has previously offered Impossible Foods products on a limited-time basis.
