Qdoba Mexican Eats promoted Eric Williams to chief operating officer of the Mexican-style fast-casual chain. Williams previously served as vice president of franchise and license operations at Qdoba. As chief operating officer, the restaurant industry veteran of three decades will oversee 740 Qdoba restaurants in the United States and Canada.

Williams joined the Qdoba leadership team in October 2019 as director of operations. Prior to working at Qdoba, he held the role of chief operating officer at CKE Restaurant Holdings, Inc. parent of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s.

Over 30 years, he’s worked in restaurant, franchise and corporate operations, in addition to a background in multi-unit franchise ownership.
