Baskin-Robbins rolls out Trick Oreo Treat flavor, Zombie Unicorn Cake
Seasonal Pumpkin Cheesecake treat returns to stores nationwide
Baskin-Robbins launched a scary pair of Halloween-inspired menu items elevating its Trick Oreo Treat flavor of the month. The ice cream flavor is a swirl of limited-edition, orange creme Oreo cookies in a creamy vanilla-flavored ice cream, with Butterfinger and Baby Ruth candy pieces throughout. And it also rolled out a fall favorite, Pumpkin Cheesecake.
The Zombie Unicorn Cake starts with Baskin-Robbin’s own unicorn cake, adorned with a crushed Oreo coated sugar cone horn, imitation “blood” and an Oreo “dirt” speckled base.
“Our guests continue to embrace how Baskin-Robbins innovates with unique offerings that stand out and satisfy those sweet treat cravings,” said Shannon Blakely, vice president of Marketing & Culinary at Baskin-Robbins. “This Halloween, we’re excited to elevate our traditional Unicorn Cake with a spooky Zombie twist and to bring back a flavor that has resonated with so many Halloween ice cream lovers in recent years.”
Baskin-Robbins is offering its own treat, providing customers with a $0 delivery fee on their first Baskin-Robbins order of $15 or more with Uber Eats, Postmates and DoorDash from October 8 to October 14, 2021. For large cake orders, the Canton, Mass.-based chain is offering $5 off any Halloween cake of $35 or more ordered on the Baskin-Robbins app.
The chain of ice cream shops will also bring back Pumpkin Cheesecake early this October. The seasonal combination of pumpkin and cheesecake-flavored ice creams swirled with a delicious cinnamon cream cheese ribbon have been popular. Ginger snap cookie pieces, bringing an essence of molasses and ginger to the fall treat, can take the dessert up a notch, suggested the brand’s announcement.
