He succeeds David Hochman, who will return to operational leadership of sister brand, KFC US
Pizza Hut promoted David Graves to president of Pizza Hut US, succeeding Kevin Hochman, interim president, effective January 1, 2022. He will report to Aaron Powell, Pizza Hut Division chief executive. As president of Pizza Hut US, Graves will pick up where Hochman left off, continuing to build profitable sales while driving franchise operations & support and the overall performance of the brand.
“David (Graves) has a well-deserved reputation for delivering results, repeatedly demonstrating his expertise in identifying solutions to business challenges that not only enhance the experience for customers, but also benefit restaurant economics, and I couldn’t be more pleased by his promotion,” said Powell. “The Pizza Hut US strategy is strong, and the leadership and talent of this team is extraordinary. I’m confident that we’ll continue to see positive growth of this iconic brand in the years ahead.”
Hochman, who was serving as both interim president, Pizza Hut US, and chief concept officer, KFC US, will resume operational leadership of KFC US beginning January 1, 2022. He was brought on board to bolster the Pizza Hut US business and propel innovation while leading the brand.
During the tenure of Graves and Hochman, “Pizza Hut US has delivered product innovation, sustained sales improvement and continued to invest in its off-premise channel in response to shifting consumer demand,” said the pizza chain in an announcement.
