Piada Italian Street Food adds Mac and Cheese, Cannoli Chips

Fall treats available at stores October 19

Piada Italian Street Food rolled out new fall menu items, including a Mac and Cheese and Cannoli Chips. The fast-casual chain will make these items available at stores October 19, 2021 as part of a limited-time seasonal special.

The Mac and Cheese features a rich and creamy Italian four cheese blend, tossed with cavatappi pasta, and finished with pesto parmesan breadcrumbs and guests’ choice of toppings. Piada offers more than 30 potential toppings, including hot chicken, making it easy for customers to personalize their own Mac and Cheese.

Cannoli Chips provide a sweet finish to the Mac and Cheese or any Piada meal. Crispy cannoli chips are tossed in powdered sugar, accompanied by chocolate chip cannoli cream. Piada’s cannoli chips are the chain’s own interpretation of a classic, Italian pastry, returned to the menu based on guest feedback.

“Our new Mac & Cheese evokes feelings of nostalgia and comfort with a modern Italian twist,” said Matthew Harding, senior vice president of culinary and menu innovation at Piada. “And after many requests from our guests, we’re thrilled to bring back an old fan favorite this fall—our Cannoli Chips.”

The Piada Gives program provides customers a way to give back to their community when ordering through the Piada app. Once opted-in, a portion of every purchase made goes to a charity or non-profit making an impact, noted the chain. For example, the Columbus, Ohio-based chain’s charity partner through the end of October is Boys and Girls Club, a non-profit dedicated to providing a safe haven and wholesome activities for more than 4M youth.
