New offering packs protein aplenty
Quiznos added Bison Reuben, a new limited-time sandwich, to the menu, offering the Denver-based restaurant chain’s own take on the classic. The new sandwich is available in the US and Canada at participating restaurants beginning October 20, 2021.
The Bison Reuben features tender, premium bison from High Plains Bison, topped generously, with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing, served on toasted, rustic rye bread. The fast-casual sandwich chain presents the new offering as a high-quality, flavorful sandwich. The corned bison is free from growth hormones, antibiotics, steroids, or animal by-products and produced in small artisan batches.
There is also a tremendous amount of protein in each sandwich, ringing in at 49 grams.
“While our guests find familiar items appealing, they are also consistently looking for new and adventurous menu items to try,” said chef Mike Gieseman, director of Culinary and Innovation for Rego Restaurant Group, parent of Quiznos. “The Bison Reuben provides a unique protein option to the beloved traditional Reuben sandwich. Bison is a tender and flavorful meat that can elevate a well-loved sandwich to new heights.”
Founded in 1981, Quiznos operates in 33 countries, including the United States.
