Growing restaurant group debuts new flagship location north of Boston
Burtons Grill & Bar will open its 17th location in Lynnfield, Massachusetts Tuesday, November 16, 2021. The newly-built restaurant, just 17 miles north of Boston, will span 7,617 square feet and seat 206 diners. It will feature a bar with 32 seats and an outdoor patio, which seats 60 guests.
The growing restaurant group, which originated in the South Shore of Massachusetts and operates restaurants in eight states, selected Lynnfield as a prime location for its newest, flagship restaurant. The company noted this unit includes a scratch kitchen, serving innovative American fare, and will feature significant design enhancements to previous layouts.
The restaurant at the MarketStreet Lynnfield open-air shopping center will showcase the culinary creativity of Denise Herrera, chef and vice president of Culinary for Burtons Grill & Bar and Red Heat Tavern. Burtons’ menu offers some fan favorites, including Crab Crusted Haddock and Lobster Shrimp Pasta; Premium steaks from Allen Bros. of Chicago, and recently-added plates, including crispy falafel, chilled gulf shrimp and grilled lobster tails.
“The extent that we go to in our restaurants to source the finest ingredients is paramount to us, and the culinary talent we have on this team is truly impressive,” said Herrera. “Our menu changes based on the seasons in the communities in which we operate and we have learned to never say ‘no’ when it comes to making sure the guest gets exactly what they want on the plate.”
In addition, the Lynnfield Burtons Grill will feature a craft cocktail program with creative and innovative drinks such as the Citrus & Sage Martini, classic cocktails like The Jack Rose, as well as the popular Orchard Sangria. The management team curated a wine list with domestic and imported by-the-glass and bottle selections, plus craft beers and ciders on draft, by the bottle or canned.
Founded in 2013, MarketStreet Lynnfield boasts 80 shops and restaurants, over 20 of which are locally owned. The North Shore shopping, dining and entertainment destination is also known for its family-friendly events, seasonal festivities, and charitable fundraisers.
