Healy’s promotion to president of Bonefish comes after more than decade in key roles at Bloomin’ Brands
Michael Healy has been promoted to Bonefish Grill president by the seafood chain’s parent, Bloomin’ Brands. In his new role, he will oversee the continuity and growth of the 180-unit brand.
Healy’s career began at Bloomin’ Brands in 2009 in his role as director of strategic finance. Advancing through the ranks, he served in various positions. At Outback Steakhouse, he held the roles of VP of development and strategic analytics and chief financial officer.
Most notably, Healy took point on the rollout of delivery in 2018 at Outback. Healy’s promotion to president of Bonefish Grill will further test his ability to scale larger strategic initiatives.
In addition, he served as SVP and chief global supply chain officer with the added responsibility for brand strategy for Bloomin’ Brands’ casual dining portfolio.
Healy received his Bachelor’s degree in business administration from the College of William & Mary.
