Westwood location to be followed by additional MIX units opening in Texas
Ralphs and Kitchen United collaborated to open their first joint kitchen center in Westwood, Calif. Through MIX, customers will be able to pair multiple orders from different local restaurants on one ticket, for carryout or delivery. The first Ralph Kitchen United Mix location will be followed by additional units opening in Texas during January.
Local restaurants land on platform
This Ralphs-Kitchen United collaboration follows a partnership between Kroger, Ralphs’ parent company, and Kitchen United, announced in August.
Fresh Brothers, Bushi by Jinya, Sajj Mediterranean, Doghaus, and other restaurant concepts will participate on the platform. Customers can order online, through the mobile app or in person at a kiosk at Ralphs. The Ralphs Kitchen United Mix location will serve as a food ordering hub for participating eateries in the greater Westwood area.
“We couldn’t be prouder that Kroger and Kitchen United chose to open the collaboration’s first location in Ralphs,” said Kendra Doyel, VP of Merchandising at Ralphs. “Our customers come to us to find the freshest food and to answer the all-important ‘what’s for dinner?’ question. This collaboration provides our customers one more simple meal solution that they can pair with Ralphs’ fresh products.”
Ralphs customers benefit from United Kitchen MIX orering
Customers can place orders through MIX at the Westwood Ralphs at 10861 Weyburn Avenue, Los Angeles, Calif. daily from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. And delivery orders will be fulfilled by third-party partners servicing the local area. They will determine their delivery fees, according to an announcement.
