WOWorks names Brian Farris chief development officer

The parent of Saladworks, WOWorks, named Brian Farris chief development officer. The appointment of Farris to the WOWorks chief development officer role took effect January 3, 2022. WOWorks is also the holding company of Frutta Bowls, Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh and The Simple Greek.

Farris comes to WOWorks from Intelligent Office and has 20 years of development and operations experience.

“Brian’s extensive experience in operations and development with established fast-casual restaurants and franchise companies is the perfect fit for WOWorks’ current stage of accelerated growth. His passion for clean, healthy eating aligns with WOWorks mission to bring fresh, nutritious and flavorful meals to guests everywhere,” said Kelly Roddy, CEO of WOWorks. “With a number of newly signed franchise deals this past year, Brian will be driving our team towards building a stronger and faster development process, as well as steering WOWorks explosive growth in non-traditional and traditional verticals.”

As WOWorks chief development officer, Farris will take up franchise sales, real estate procurement and development support for four fast-casual brands.

At Intelligent Office, he served as brand president. Prior to his work there, Farris held the role of VP of operations for Schlotzy’s. He also served as VP of International Operations for Schlotzky’s parent, Focus Brands. Before Focus Brands, he oversaw Finance, Marketing, Operations and Development teams at Quiznos and Boston Market.
