Fuku opens in Lexington, Kentucky with Franklin Junction

Dark kitchen location to serve University of Kentucky, Lexington neighborhoods

Fuku Lexington, Ky. is the newest home of the concept’s elevated chicken sandwiches, as it opens within the delivery perimeter of the University of Kentucky. The new opening was made possible through a deal with Franklin Junction, a dark-kitchen network that provides access to major brands through off-premises dining. Fuku’s food will be offered on major third-party delivery providers, including through UberEats, DoorDash, Grubhub, and Postmates.

“We couldn’t be more excited to introduce Fuku to Lexington and to join its vibrant culinary scene,” said Alex Munoz-Suarez, Fuku chief executive. “Being in close proximity to the University of Kentucky, we hope we’ll be the food of choice for late night study breakers and Kentucky Wildcats tailgaters.”

The site of the host (dark) kitchen of Fuku Lexington is the first of 50+ such sites that Fuku and Franklin Junction will open this year in the United States.
