New revamped Qdoba rewards program to offer two different levels of loyalty membership

Qdoba Mexican Eats launched a new, revamped rewards program effective Feb 17, 2022. All members can earn one point for every dollar spent. A total of 125 points leads to one free entree.

And new reward members will receive a Qdoba reward for free Queso & Chips on their next visit.

Qdoba conducted research and found that for loyalty programs, easy redemption and relevant, compelling rewards are essential to strong member engagement. Paytronix provides loyalty software and management for Qdoba. It found that almost one in seven QSR and fast-casual patrons take advantage of loyalty programs offered by several restaurants they frequent.

Under the Qdoba revamped rewards program, Foodie Status awards loyalty members one point per dollar spent and a free entree at 125 points. In addition, they can achieve Chef status after just 12 Qdoba visits per year. Chef Status provides Qdoba loyalty members all the Foodie benefits, as well as bonus perks. At this level, members can enjoy $2 signature Queso & Chips with every visit.

Furthermore, the San Diego-based Mexican-style chain will provide seasonal perks. These can include ways to earn additional points throughout the year with compelling offers and challenges.

“After listening closely to what matters most to our fans, we’ve introduced a simplified and easier-to-understand program that rewards people with free food fast for eating what they already love,” said Keith Guilbault, Qdoba chief executive. “Our guests appreciate that we have set up a program that gets them to flavorful rewards fast, as we’ve already seen a 20% increase in weekly sign-ups since the program launched.”

The fast casual deployed ways for customers to join, including on its website, through the Qdoba app and by texting Qdoba to 73622.
