$5 Saintly Sips added to line of Mucho Cocktails line
Applebee’s Grill + Bar rolled out Tipsy Leprechaun and Pot O’Gold Colada as part of $5 Saintly Sips. The $5 Saintly Sips rollout will become part of the Mucho Cocktails line. These drinks use premium spirits, according to the casual-dining chain, and come in a signature Mucho glass.
The Applebee’s Tipsy Leprechaun starts with Jameson Irish Whiskey, which is then mixed with melon liqueur, blue curaçao, sweet & sour, and lemon lime soda. A gold sugar rim garnish finishes off the adult beverage. Pot O’ Gold Colada drink puts the classic piña colada in the spotlight, headlined by Captain Morgan and mango.
The Glendale, Calif.-based restaurant chain leverages these monthly beverage rollouts to create excitement around the Applebee’s menu. In January, Applebee’s launched the Tipsy Cupid and Date Night Daiquiri drinks in the lead-up to Valentine’s Day.

“It’s the luckiest time of the year at Applebee’s with two new drinks for only five dollars but worth a pot o’ gold,” says Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s. “Our guests love to celebrate at Applebee’s with their friends and families. With St. Patrick’s Day, and everyone’s favorite basketball tournament around the corner, Applebee’s is the perfect place to do that—so head on in for a shamrock n’ rollin’ good time!”
The Applebee’s Tipsy Leprechaun and Pot O’Gold Colada offerings will last for a limited time during February and March.
