Seafood-based item features newly-released Butt Burnin’ sweet chile sauce
Fuzzy’s Taco Shop introduced a Bangin’ Shrimp Taco to the menu, available during Lenten Season. In light of Lent, the introduction of the Fuzzy’s Bangin’ Shrimp Taco as a meatless option is timely.
The seafood creation combines tempura-battered fried shrimp or grilled shrimp with the brand’s newly-released Butt Burnin’ sweet chile sauce. Fuzzy’s adds avocado crema, crisp cabbage & pepper slaw, feta and cilantro to the shrimp, serving the ingredients on a warm flour tortilla.
“Our signature Butt Burnin’ Hot Sauce is a huge fan favorite, so to be able to incorporate it into a new recipe with an on-trend ingredient like sweet chile sauce is exciting for us,” says Laura Purser, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop vice president of Marketing. “This taco is packed with flavor and features shrimp, one of our most popular items, which also offers a seafood option for our guests who don’t eat meat or have cut it out for Lent.”
The featured menu item will stay on the menu through April 10.
The Fuzzy’s Taco Shop chain consists of a mix of 150 company and franchise locations in 17 states.
