Chicken-and-waffle taco, Sucker Punch featured all month long
Torchy’s Tacos returned The Roscoe as the March Taco of the Month. In addition, the Austin, Texas-based taco chain started featuring Sucker Punch as its Drink of the Month.
Served on a flour tortilla, The Torchy’s The Roscoe includes a crispy waffle, fried chicken, bacon and a fried cage-free egg, finished with a drizzle of maple syrup.
The Sucker Punch features Bacardi Coconut Rum, combined with the chain’s tropical juices. Customers can add a 1UP to the drink—a Bacardi Silver floater for a $2 upcharge.
“Our Taco of the Month program allows us to constantly mix things up by delivering unique, out-of-the-box taco creations, and let’s be real… you can’t get more unique than the Roscoe!” said Mike Rypka, founder and chief executive of Torchy’s Tacos. “This taco combines sweetness from the maple syrup with the savory of the bacon and chicken, creating a flavor party in your mouth every time you take a bite. Check out the Roscoe all month long for breakfast, lunch, dinner… and dessert, because it’s that Damn Good!”
Available throughout the month, the Torchy’s The Roscoe will also help do good. The fast casual will donate a portion of the proceeds from the Taco of the Month sales to its charitable partners. These include the Make-a-Wish Foundation, MD Anderson and Phoenix House.
Across 11 states, Torchy’s Tacos operates more than 100 locations.
