Bill Mitchell named Church’s Chicken vice president, company restaurant operations

Mitchell previously worked for Burger King’s largest US franchisee

The company behind Church’s Chicken and Texas Chicken named Bill Mitchell VP of company restaurant operations. Mitchell brings robust leadership skills from working within the QSR segment.

Most recently, Mitchell held the role of director of operations for Carrol’s Corporation, which is the largest Burger King franchisee in the United States. Prior to Carrol’s, he served as a general manager for Burger King.

Mitchell comes with the skill sets to maximize sales performance and improve the customer experience, suggested an announcement. He is also equipped to lead teams, enabling ongoing growth of the Church’s Chicken and Texas Chicken brands.

As Church’s VP of company restaurant operations, Mitchell will balance objectives for the benefit of employees, franchisees and customers.

“I’m thrilled to join this team of hard-working individuals as we seek to improve and grow the company together,” said Mitchell. “I believe that with my knowledge from previous roles combined with the expertise already within the company, we can continue to innovate our products, engage our franchisees, and expand our reach to new and existing customers.”

Among the QSR brands—Church’s Chicken and Texas Chicken—1,500 locations operate in 26 countries. High Bluff Capital acquired the $1.2B-per-year grossing QSR brands from Friedman Fleischer & Lowe Partners last fall.
