Branding executive expected to help accelerate expansion of sandwich fast casual
Fast-casual Erbert & Gerbert’s promoted Jeremy Burke to chief operations officer. The 15-year industry veteran previously held the role of VP, brand development and strategy. Promoting Burke will be pivotal in continuing the brand’s growth, suggested the Minneapolis, Minn.-based restaurant chain.
Prior to working at Erbert & Gerbert’s, Burke, a savvy creative, served as brand & creative lead for Buffalo Wild Wings. He spent more than a decade with the sports bar and wings chain. Burke helped the casual-dining chain grow from 300 locations to more than 1,000. His work at Buffalo Wild Wings earned him national recognition.
Coming off a period of double-digit sales increases, Erbert & Gerbert’s is ready for rapid expansion. Burke intends to implement a robust, brand-building strategy to grow the fast casual in similar fashion to Buffalo Wild Wings.

New company stores will open in Minneapolis, St Paul and their environs. Also, a new prototype store design will guide additional construction and openings in The Plains and Midwest markets. As such, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Illinois, and Ohio have become target development markets.
