Introduction comes ahead of National Cheesesteak Day
Charleys Cheesesteaks introduced the new Fiesta Cheesesteak and Fiesta Fries. The limited-time offerings (LTOs) will be on the menu through the end of June.
The introduction of the Charleys Fiesta Cheesesteak and Fiesta Fries provides an opportunity for added marketing exposure. National Cheesesteak Day is approaching March 24.
The Fiesta Cheesesteak starts with Tex-Mex seasoned steak, which is then grilled with jalapeño pepper slices, green peppers and onions and served on a toasted sub roll. The newly-launched Fiesta Fries take the chain’s signature French fries for a spin. A generous portion of grilled jalapeño pepper slices, green peppers and onions are loaded on the fries to create the spring LTO.
“The Fiesta Cheesesteak and Fiesta Fries were among several products tested last year and became very popular with guests,” said Brian Hipsher, chief marketing officer at Charleys. “Jalapeño peppers are a common ‘add-on’ topping for Charleys fans, and we’re excited to bring this new dish to our loyal spice lovers.”
The Columbus, Ohio-based chain will launch additional promotions for its loyalty customers on the Charleys Rewards program. Plus, Charleys plans to launch giveaways on its social media channels.
Charleys Cheesesteaks operates and franchises 600 locations globally.
