Following industry trends, CKE launches loyalty, promoted with Double Stars through May
Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s launched the My Rewards loyalty program. The newly-introduced My Rewards comes on the brand apps that were introduced by CKE Restaurants, the parent company.
My Rewards program
Upon registering, My Rewards members will receive an offer to redeem for a choice of a free Western Bacon Cheeseburger, Famous Star or Hand-Breaded Chicken Sandwich. In addition, My Rewards members gain access to special offers, including 10 percent off their digital orders, BOGOs and additional surprises.
Essentially, members will earn 10 Stars for every dollar they spend. They can redeem Stars for free food at the 150-, 300- and 500-Star thresholds. Made from Scratch Biscuits, the Charbroiled Burger and Angus Burger Lines, as well as Hand-breaded Chicken, are examples of free food redeemable at Hardee’s. Plus, at Carl’s Jr, members can redeem Stars for several menu items, including The Breakfast Burger and Iconic Charbroiled Classics.
“In today’s digital-first age, we want to reward our loyal customers in a fun and engaging way that brings craveable flavors to their fingertips and offers the VIP treatment while encouraging new guests to sign up as well,” said Chad Crawford, chief brand officer at CKE Restaurants. “We were extremely pleased by the positive feedback from superfans in our pilot markets that gained early access to the program and are thrilled the national rollout is now here.”
From now through May 17, loyalty members will earn double Stars as part of the launch celebration.

CKE Restaurants, parent of Carl’s Jr and Hardee’s, has initiated a technology overhaul with its franchisees. Executives aim to finalize initiatives that will lead to a digital transformation of the brands in-store and on the web.
