Sullivan’s Steakhouse debuts in Arkansas with Little Rock restaurant opening

New unit is 14th location in brand’s portfolio

Sullivan’s Steakhouse opened a new restaurant in Little Rock, Arkansas. The opening at 17707 Chenal Parkway marks the Denver-based brand’s debut in the Natural State and its 14th overall location. Sullivan’s brings its bone-in steaks, seafood and cocktail menu to Arkansas, along with live local jazz music.

Max Ceaser, a 25-year restaurant industry veteran, takes the helm of the Little Rock Sullivan’s Steakhouse as general manager. Ceaser has worked at notable restaurant chains, including Outback Steakhouse. What’s more, he also managed popular, local venues, like Cheers and the Old Post Office (OPO).

“When the opportunity presented itself to open a restaurant in Arkansas, it felt like the perfect time to expand into this market and bring our rich traditions to the beautiful city of Little Rock,” said Nishant Machado, president and chief executive of Sullivan’s parent Dividend Restaurant Group. “We’re honored to be part of Little Rock’s bustling culinary scene and look forward to welcoming guests through our doors for years to come.”

Executive Chef Michael Brown will serve as culinary head of the Little Rock Sullivan’s Steakhouse. He will be “bringing his unique perspective and experience working for some of the biggest names in Orlando’s vibrant culinary scene,” the chain said in a statement. His work includes stints at Wolfgang Puck, Funky Monkey Wine Company and Modern Diner in Orlando.

Brown’s talents will serve him well as he prepares Sullivan’s American classics. The menu will feature appetizers, such as the steakhouse’s iconic Cheesesteak Eggrolls made with tender filet mignon, and a wide selection of cooked-to-order, bone-in cuts of steak.

A cocktail menu will put the spotlight on creative libations, including the Knockout Martini, inspired by the steakhouse’s name sake, boxer John Sullivan.
