Subway names Taylor Bennett vice president of non-traditional development

Bennett previously worked at HOA Brands, Focus Brands

Subway Restaurants named Taylor Bennett vice president of non-traditional development. The newest addition to the executive team will oversee strategic growth and innovation of non-traditional units at Subway. These include airports, hospitals and the gas & convenience channel.

Bennett has a wide-ranging leadership background in franchisee development, sales and legal.

Prior to this appointment, he served as chief development officer at HOA Brands. There, he shepherded global development for the multi-brand restaurant portfolio. In addition, he served as vice president of franchise sales and development at Focus Brands. At the multi-concept franchisor, he led the sales and development teams, charged with growing seven brands in Focus’ portfolio.

“Taylor brings a wealth of experience to Subway, from his background in law to working alongside franchisees to develop and grow their businesses,” said Mike Kappitt, Subway chief operating and insights officer. “As Subway continues on its transformation journey, Taylor’s understanding of franchising and how to meet guests’ needs will help solidify Subway as a leader in non-traditional innovation and drive profitability for the brand and our network of franchisees.”

Bennett received a degree in international affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Furthermore, he received his J.D. from John Marshall Law School.
