Vegan fast casual offers special roast beef-style sandwich all month long
Native foods introduced a Chef’s Beef N Bettah, a new limited-time offering. The roast beef-style Seitan and vegan cheese sandwich has arrived as the seasonal, May special.
The new seasonal creation was created by chef Chris Bertke, executive chef of Native Foods. In addition to the Beef N Bettah Sandwich, Bertke also developed the new spring menu.
The classic Beer N Bettah has risen in status among the offerings through the adoption of plant-based horseradish aioli for a little bite, caramelized onions for a little sweetness, and pepperoncini for some heat.
In addition, the sandwich comes with a side of customer’s choosing, such as seasoned fries or a premium side, including a mac and cheese, for an upcharge of $1.50. The Native Foods Beef n Bettah goes for $13.75 and is available throughout May at stores systemwide.
The next seasonal, limited-time special will come out in June.
