Taco Cabana debuts Carne Asada Street Tacos, adds Smothered Burritos

Cherry Margarita, sopapillas, churros, Tres Leches Cake, chocolate chip cookie also added

Taco Cabana will debut Carne Asada Street Tacos and add new Smothered Burritos, expanding its burrito line. In addition, it introduced a dessert and seasonal margarita.

The Carne Asada at Taco Cabana starts with USDA Choice beef, seasoned salt and pepper, then seared on a flat top, for a traditional charred flavor, said the Mexican-style chain. For $4.29, the new Carne Asada Street Tacos three-pack arrives on the menu. For $7.29, the tacos are joined by rice and beans. The combo platter comes with chips and queso, plus a drink, for $8.99.

The San Antonio, Texas-based chain will expand its burrito combinations with 16 new Smothered Burrito offerings. Chicken Fajita for $8.29, Steak Fajita for $9.89, Ground Beef for $8.09, and Shredded Chicken for $7.49 were added. Guests can select one of four sauces—Queso, Queso Blanco, Tex-Mex, or Green Sauce.

The expanded dessert line includes sopapillas, churros, Tres Leches Cake and the new chocolate chip cookie.

The Taco Cabana Carne Asada Street Tacos will roll out June 8, while new dessert options will arrive June 18. Plus, a $4 Cherry Margarita also arrives for guests 21 years of age or older.
