Native Foods features Fried Green Tomato BLT during July

Also, fast casual will soon release a new summer menu

Native Foods began offering the Fried Green Tomato BLT as the July featured Chef’s Special. As a vegan restaurant chain, Native Foods utilizes plant-based bacon instead of regular bacon.

Customers who order the Native Foods Fried Green Tomato BLT will receive a choice of side, also. The sandwich includes fried green tomatoes, plant-based bacon, tomato, lettuce, and a housemade, plant-based remoulade, all on toasted sourdough bread. For sides, guests can select the improved plant-based mac and cheese, recently perfected by Executive Chef Chris Bertke, for a $1.50 upcharge.

What’s more, the restaurant chain announced it will release a new summer menu in mid-July. The Native Foods Fried Green Tomato BLT will be on the menu during the month of July at all locations.

Founded in 1994, Native Foods has created natural, plant-based meals with a mission of environmental sustainability and animal welfare.

According to its online profile, the fast-casual chain’s portfolio of restaurants includes 11 units. These locations operate in Chicago, Denver, Boulder, Lone Tree, Los Angeles, Orange County, Palm Springs, and San Diego.
