Ike’s Love and Sandwiches opens store in St. George, Utah

New location to offer two exclusive sandwiches

Ike’s Love and Sandwiches opened its latest location in St. George, Utah July 30, continuing to expand its franchise. Fred Smith, chief executive of Fabulous Freddy’s Car Wash, will operate the the restaurant at 806 North Bluff Street.

Ike Shehade, founder of Ike’s Sandwiches was on hand for the grand opening celebration, which included free giveaways. Exclusive to the menu at Ike’s St. George will be the John Cat, prepared with turkey, beef salami, Ike’s fabulous peso and provolone. The Red Cliffs, a vegetarian version of the John Cat, with vegan turkey and Ike’s peso and provolone, is another unique creation for the St. George store.

The sandwich chain prides itself on the many possible combinations that guest can enjoy. The possibilities include options for meat lovers, vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free diets. A Dirty Sauce from Ike’s offers a creamy garlic aioli toasted right into the bread, a flavor kick that is popular with customers.

“When Freddy first mentioned to me that he wanted to put an Ike’s in St. George, my heart took off. I love, love, love visiting St. George as well as nearby Duck Creek & Zion,” said Shehade. “I am glad that I’m able to share my sandwiches with the area and doubly glad that I have more excuses to get out to St. George more often.”
