Caribou Coffee rolls out fall menu, debuts Pumpkin Cake Pop

Pumpkin White Mocha, Pumpkin Caribou Cooler, Apple Blast also return; Pumpkin Cake Pop introduced

Caribou Coffee released a new fall menu featuring all-things pumpkin, including Nitro Pumpkin Latte. In addition, Pumpkin Crafted Press, Pumpkin White Mocha, Pumpkin Caribou Cooler, Pumpkin Chai, Apple Blast, Caribou BOUsted Apple Blast, Maple Waffle Breakfast Sandwich, and new Pumpkin Cake Pop were added, too. The lineup uses no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives, said the chain.

The Pumpkin Latte uses espresso and steamed milk, combined with real pumpkin, and topped with ground nutmeg, available hot or iced. Pumpkin Crafted Press coffee, created from the Crafted Press, is offered up as a lighter, daily beverage to be enjoyed hot, iced, or blended. Pumpkin White Mocha includes real white chocolate that is melted into steamed milk and then combined with espresso and pumpkin. The coffeehouses top it with whipped cream and garnish it with white chocolate chips. The Caribou Pumpkin White Mocha comes iced, blended, or with Nitro cold press.

The Pumpkin Caribou Cooler is a blended coffee beverage, prepared with real pumpkin and topped with whipped cream and ground nutmeg. Caribou’s Pumpkin Chai includes real pumpkin. The Pumpkin Chai is garnished with nutmeg and is available iced or blended.

A traditional fall drink, the Apple Blast combines hot apple cider and caramel, topped with whipped cream and ground cinnamon, finished with a caramel drizzle, and comes iced or blended.

The caffeinated Caribou BOUsted Apple Blast features apple flavors. And the caffeine comes from coffee plus guarana and ginseng. Caribou’s Pumpkin Cake Pop includes pumpkin puree and fall spices like cinnamon and cloves. Also on the seasonal menu, Pumpkin Bread is baked with real pumpkin, according to a statement, and topped with pecans and pumpkin seeds.

Caribou Coffee also returned the Maple Waffle Breakfast Sandwich. The popular menu item is Caribou’s take on chicken and waffles. The sandwich features reformulated and improved, crispier maple waffles, chicken apple gouda sausage, melted gouda cheese and a cage-free egg.

“To welcome the new season and cooler months ahead, we are thrilled to launch our highly anticipated Caribou Coffee fall menu, filled with signature pumpkin and apple flavors our customers love,” said Matt Reiter, vice president of product at Caribou Coffee. “Our seasonal beverages, made with only real ingredients, pair perfectly with our unique, limited-time food menu items. Both will have guests delighting in the flavors of fall while feeling good about what they are consuming.”

The coffee chain also rolled out seasonal bagged coffee for the home. Pumpkin Love, a medium roast, offers flavors of fresh pumpkin, warm spices, and a dollop of sweet whip cream. The beans, made with 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee, can be purchased at retailers including Target.
