Co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express opens in Manassas

New Northern Virginia restaurant offers full-service bar

A co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express store opened in Manassas, Va. Parent company Fat Brands also operates Elevation Burger, locally in the Washington region, as well as 13 other restaurant brands.

The Manassas Fatburger boats a Fatburger Bar. The restaurant will serve up cocktails, including the Fat Mule and Two in the Mornin’ Daiquiri, as well as spiked milkshakes made with ice cream. The two concepts, together offering burgers- and wing-based meals, make this the first co-branded location in Northern Virginia.

The first Fatburger opened in Los Angeles 70 years ago. Customization is at the heart of the concept, so at Fatburger, burgers can be customized with everything from bacon and eggs to chili and onion rings. Sides include Fat and Skinny Fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. The concept also serves turkey burgers, hand-breaded crispy chicken sandwiches and milkshakes.

“We are excited to introduce Northern Virginia to our popular, co-branded restaurant model, the third to date in the state,” said Jake Berchtold, COO of Fat Brands’ fast casual division. “The DC area has been craving Fatburger for some time, so we are pleased to now be able to serve them our famous Fatburgers and wings.”

The Manassas Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express will open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
