Fa La Latte, Spicy Mocha, Ice Crafted Press with Egg Nog Cold Foam also added as part of holiday menu
Caribou Coffee launched an Egg Nog Cold Foam and Maple Waffle Breakfast Sandwich as part of its holiday menu. Among additional, festive holiday beverages added, Ho Ho Mint Mocha includes real chocolate melted into steamed milk and combined with espresso and mint flavor. The seasonal drink comes topped with whipped cream and peppermints, available iced, blended or nitro. Caribou also added Fa La Latte, Spicy Mocha and Ice Crafted Press with Egg Nog Cold Foam.
The Minneapolis, Minn.-based coffee-shop chain also began offering the Fa La Latte, which combines espresso and steamed egg nog. The drink is topped with whipped cream and garnished with a sprinkle of nutmeg. Guests can choose the Fa La Latte iced or nitro.
Real chocolate melted into steamed milk, combined with espresso, creates Caribou’s Spicy Mocha. The hot beverage benefits from flavors of ancho chili and chipotle. The drink comes topped with whipped cream and chocolate chips, served iced, blended or nitro.
Iced Crafted Press with Egg Nog Cold Foam landed on the menu, too. The Cold Press is stirred with a splash of milk and real sugar. Served over ice, the drink comes topped with egg nog cold foam.
“Caribou has been spreading holiday cheer for thirty years. The return of our holiday menu with seasonal flavors and offerings invites our guests to take a moment out of their day and indulge in a festive treat that sparks joy,” said Erin Newkirk, Caribou chief brand and marketing officer. “Each holiday season we like to offer new surprises and delights and rolling out this season is our limited-time Egg Nog Cold Foam that will catapult our Cold Foam innovation going into the new year.”
Caribou Coffee emphasized it uses real egg nog. The fast casual, part of Panera Brands, also suggested it would introduce additional beverages that make use of the popular and innovative cold foam. For example, Dunkin Brands introduced a sweet cold foam drink topping during the summer, and then a pumpkin spice cold foam this fall.
In addition to the above menu items, Caribou Coffee added Ho Ho Mint Cake Pop and slices of Ginger Bread loaf. Plus, it will merchandise holiday merchandise and coffee-blend by the bag at retailers.
