Fat Brands strikes deal for 80 new restaurants in Texas

40 Round Table Pizza, co-branded Fatburger + Buffalo’s Express stores to open

Fat Brands and franchisee Brame Holdings LLC will open 40 new Round Table Pizza restaurants in Texas in the next 10 years. The development agreement with Brame will also lead to 40 new co-branded Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express stores. As a result of this significant franchising deal, the first handful of new locations will open in Texas in 2023.

Founded in 1989, Round Table Pizza offers its signature handmade pizzas, salads, baked to perfection Garlic Parmesan Twists, and wings.

“Texas is a priority growth market for Round Table Pizza and Fatburger and Buffalo’s Express as the concepts fulfill a growing need for high-quality, authentic pizza, burgers, and wings in the state,” said Taylor Wiederhorn, chief development officer at Fat Brands. “We’ve seen this in the Dallas market for both Fatburger and Round Table Pizza and are pleased to have a committed partner like Brame Holdings LLC to spearhead significant expansion in new markets throughout Texas for the brands.”

The first Fatburger opened in Los Angeles 70 years ago. Customization is at the heart of the concept, so at Fatburger, burgers can be customized with everything from bacon and eggs to chili and onion rings. Fatburger’s sides include Fat and Skinny Fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. The concept also serves turkey burgers, hand-breaded crispy chicken sandwiches and milkshakes.
