Former consulting executive to stimulate expansion across QSR brands, departments
Church’s Texas Chicken named Neel Patel vice president, strategy & growth. The recently-created position sets the stage for the next chapter of the brands’ continued growth and expansion.
Reporting to Joe Guith, chief executive of Church’s and Texas Chicken, Patel joined the organization March 27.
In the role of Church’s vice president, strategy & growth, Patel will advance “strategic planning, data & analytics, and business transformation,” according to an announcement. In addition, he will propel growth initiatives. Specifically, Neel is charged with broadening this implementation in all facets of the business, including marketing, development, finance, supply chain, and international.
Commenting on his new role at Church’s Texas Chicken, Patel, said, “I’m thrilled to join this impressive team of driven leaders as we collaborate on the future of Church’s Texas Chicken. It’s an exciting time to join a company with such incredible potential, and I look forward to growing the brand and elevating the business as we work towards becoming a leading global fried chicken chain.”
Previously, Patel worked at McKinsey & Company. There, he led growth-focused client engagements within various industries, including food and retail. During his tenure, he solidified his acumen in marketing, sales, strategy, and operations.
Patel graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Economics.
