Milestone restaurant arrives with new accord with Sunshine Gasoline Distributors
Rego Restaurant Group will debut a dual-branded Quiznos and Taco Del Mar restaurant in Cape Coral, FL. The multi-brand franchisor partnered with Sunshine Gasoline Distributors to debut the new unit. The parent of Quiznos and Taco Del Mar has incorporated contemporary stores designs that launched in 2022 in the new units.
This new accord with Sunshine comes on the heels of the hiring of Vanessa Fox, chief development officer, late last year. Executives at Rego saw her appointment as a first step in accelerating the growth of its fast-casual brands.
The recently-opened unit will debut at 314 Del Prado Boulevard North.
Plans are being erected for a minimum of 13 dual-branded Quiznos and Taco Del Mar restaurants in central and south Florida. Markets where these co-branded stores will open include Orlando, Tampa and Miami.
Rego executives anticipate the brands’ toasted subs and well-known fish tacos will resonate in the Sunshine state.

Currently, a Venice, Florida restaurant is in the works. This will become the second co-branded restaurant in Florida, following the upcoming grand opening of the flagship Cape Coral unit.
