Captain D’s names Steve Bailey director of franchise development

Franchise sales veteran to support QSR’s expansion east of Mississippi

Captain D’s hired Steve Bailey to join the company as director of franchise development. The 20-year restaurant industry franchise sales veteran will help the seafood QSR continue to expand in targeted markets. Currently, the quick-service chain continues to focus east of the Mississippi River.

Bailey will ignite Captain D’s ongoing expansion across the United States, working with longtime senior director of franchise development Steve Bielewicz. The latter heads growth for Captain D’s in the western region.

Brad Reed, chief development officer of Captain D’s, said “Captain D’s focus on flexible prototypes and cost-effective conversion opportunities is fueling increased interest from both new and existing multi-unit and multi-concept franchisees throughout the South, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, and we have welcomed Steve onboard our development team to help us capitalize on this momentum. He is a tremendous asset to us, with a stellar track record from over two decades of experience helping restaurant brands and franchise owners grow.”

Bailey spent the most recent six years with Fazoli’s, where he served as senior director of franchise sales. While there, he helped lead restructuring and revitalization, producing record-breaking performance numbers for the brand.
