Renzi first acquisition by US Foods since April 2020
US Foods agreed to acquire Watertown, New York-based Renzi Foodservice. The acquisition of Renzi Foodservice will set the stage for greater penetration by US Foods in upstate New York. This is US Foods’ first acquisition under Dave Flitman, the broadliner’s chief executive.
The acquisition of Renzi Foodservice is also the first since April 2020. The companies did not disclose the terms of the transaction.

A family-owned company, Renzi produces more than $180M in annual revenue, serving a variety of customers. The New York broadliner distributes to more than 2,300 locations. These span across restaurants, healthcare facilities, schools, government entities, convenience stores, and other sectors.
US Foods distributes to more than 250,000 restaurant and foodservice locations. In 2023, it will deliver more than $34B in annual revenue.

Company executives expect the purchase of Renzi to close in the third quarter of 2023.
