Another Broken Egg Cafe franchising is hitting the accelerator on new store development. The chain of breakfast-and-brunch cafes works primarily with multi-unit, franchise partners. Over the winter and spring, Another Broken Egg Cafe will open seven new restaurants. Its development group has plans for 300 cafes by 2025. Recently, Another Broken Egg announced “in-filling” in existing markets, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Texas.

Krystal has a new president and CFO as part of a leadership change, announced the company. The Krystal Burger chain’s chief executive and chief financial officer are no longer with the company. Previous President and Chief Executive Officer Paul Macaluso and Chief Financial Officer Berry Epley left “to pursue other opportunities.” Tim Ward takes the role of president and chief operating officer, while Bruce Vermilyea now serves as chief financial officer.
